We had a florescent 18 inch T-12 light. The bulb kept failing, about 2 years ago it failed and I never put in a new bulb. I thought I'd surprise the wife and install a new LED light. This product fit perfectly and is very bright. I left the LED plastic cover off intentionally. With the cover it's a little brighter. LED's are far superior over florescent lights. This light is fairly inexpensive, easy to install and mount. Worked for our needs.

This light is replacing my fluorescent fixture of the same length, 33 inches. I had my fluorescent fixture up of about a year when it failed two days ago. I told myself that I would install LED if and when the fluorescent failed, and here we are.The light was very east to install because it was the same size as my last fixture. This fixture is not as deep as the other so there is a gap between the wall and the fixture. It is only visible if one looks under the counter. The color temperature switch helps me match my other fluorescent fixture which is still working and I don't want to replace it yet. This fixture is set for 4000K while my other fixture is 4100K, so this is very close. The issue I am having now with the fluorescent is the lens has yellowed from the heat of the lamp. That, over time, has changed the color of the light. This LED light should not have that issue.Very pleased with this purchase, but disappointed that delivery took two days. As a Prime Member I would expect it the same day or at the very latest, next day for this price. Amazon has to do better.Update - I have just replaced the second Florescence light with the 42" Nicor LED. Having installed the first on mid '24, I was prepared to expect the process. The installation when faster and smoother than the first install. Throughout the process I would test to make sure the light was working. The wish that the light without the on/off switch was available. It was not at the time of purchase. I may hard the switch to the on position at a later date.

Poor design, construction and materials in these light fixtures. The ground wires pull out of the fittings, the clip system to mount them in place is flimsy and they continually fall down when you try to install the light cover. The steel frame is thin and bend very easily. Very disappointed in the design. I should have known better than to buy these since Amazon prompted me it was a frequently returned it.

Under cabinet light. Almost too bright for this application. Buy a smaller version than your old light. Dimming capability would be an improvement. Light color adjustment was easy but unnecessary. Instructions were complete but cryptic. Light lense cover installation very tricky. Overall satisfactory.

The light were pretty easy to install other than having to lay upside down on the counter just due to them being under cabinets. Bought them because we had two old fluorescent lights burn out. The ability to change the color temp made it easy to match the existing remaining fluorescent lights.

After making a poor decision to replace the ballast on our old fixture to save money (I bought one that required different wiring), I chose this model because the lumens were close to our old model. I liked the adjustable color temperature option, too. It look less than 15 minutes to install; the only requirement was getting someone to hold the casing in place while I drove in the screws.The light may be marginally brighter - our old one was about 1300 lumens - but it lights the area perfectly, and the color matches the other fixtures in our kitchen. Highly recommended.
