These paints are great for anyone wanting to try out painting with acrylics. The multiple colors are great for mixing. The paint brushes aren't the highest quality, but are decent enough to start. All-in-all a great set for beginners, but not made for kids in particular.

There were two primary reasons why I picked this painting set. One was for the pallet knife and the other was for the vertical canvas stand. The pallet knife is pretty small, but it does feel sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break. The painting stand is a letdown. Somehow I thought the easel would be different or look more like a traditional easel. This one is metal and if it worked, that would be fine. But it is warped and doesn’t stand up quite straight.The Kansas’s are fine. The paint quality is serviceable. And I like the assortment of brushes and being synthetic they clean easily and the paint palette is a nice addition.
