This turns any acrylic paint into fabric paint, and it's very easy to mix. I have only used this a couple of times so far, but the paint is very smooth and easy to apply, and it has withstood several washings so far with no issues. This is a good option for fabric painting, and I think it's a good value for the price.

It’s just ok, you get a good amount for the price, but its definitely landing on “beginner side quality”Very Decent for learning how to play around with using acrylic paint on fabric.

I am still playing with this. It seems to work well but I am new to screen printing. Easy to use if you read the instructions

I have lots of high-quality acrylic paint. What I don't have is a lot of high-quality acrylic fabric paint. The NICPRO PROFESSIONAL EFFECTS FABRIC MEDIUM is exactly what I needed to convert my acrylic paint to a suitable texture to use on fabrics.I've been painting on fabric for quite a few years now. Mostly I paint jeans. Trying to use regular paint results in stiff, crunchy fabric. You need either real quality fabric paint or to add a medium like this to your acrylic paint to render the material soft and pliable when the paint dries.I didn't find directions for using this paint medium until just now. I winged it, mixing acrylic paint and the medium about half and half. That seemed to work well for me. As it turns out, that is what the directions actually say. The directions are located underneath the label on the bottle. You'll have to peel off the plastic and then pull off the warning label to get to a piece of paper that's inserted under the label. You'll have to remove the paper completely to see the backside of it. Odd place to hide the directions, but at least they have them.Once you finish painting, the directions tell you to set the paint by drying it fully for 24 hours before washing your fabric inside out. Not having found the directions made me just do what I always do. I heat-set my painted-on designs right-side-out, using a hot iron over parchment paper. The inside of the jeans had a piece of flat cardboard inserted to keep the paint from bleeding through to the other side of the pants when I hit it with the heat from the iron.I washed them afterwards in the washing machine using warm water and regular laundry soap. I always add a white sock or rag to that first wash after the painting is done to check for color fastness. The jeans are nice and soft; the colors didn't bleed or run. They stayed vibrant. This is exactly the product I needed. It will save me a lot of money by not having to buy expensive fabric paints. Good quality fabric paints are expensive to buy.

Nicpro Professional Effects Fabric Medium, 8.45oz Bottle Fabric Painting Acrylic Fluid Medium, Improves Acrylic Paint Adhesion to Fabrics, Textiles for Fabric DIY Clothing, T-shirts, Shoes Jeans BagsFirst impressions: Small bottle of clearish but a bit cloudy liquid, ready to mix with your acrylic paints. The medium doesn’t have much of a smell but it seems pretty thin.Installation/setup: Mix with your acrylic paints to make them suitable for painting on fabric.Final thoughts: The ratio listed is 2 paint to 1 medium. The paint I used was a standard acrylic craft paint. I would recommend a thick body paint instead. Mine was too thin and runny to stay in place on the t shirt I was trying to paint. I used some tape to make a stencil and the painted area required several coats to turn it white. It didn’t really work for me, I ended up with poor adhesion and gave up, painting my shirt with straight paint and it didn’t survive washing well at all.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

I have used Nicer fabric medium on our wicker furniture cushions 4 1/2 years ago (what is pictured, current day). There is some crackling after that number of years, with some of the most happening within the first year, when the furniture used to be on an outside, roofed, no sides, porch. For the last 3 1/2 years the furniture has been on in enclosed porch. For the full 4 1/2 years, this furniture (and therefore the cushions) has had lots of usage so I think the wear is more than acceptable. This bottle will be used with some of the areas which need touch ups. After having read on the internet several peoples experiences with using this (and other fabric mediums), I deviated a bit from the instructions. Instead of following the instructions for a 1:1 ratio of the fabric medium and the acyclic paint, I used a 1:1:1 ratio, with water added as the third ingredient. This does make for a thinner product and I did need to do four coats (underneath, two of the cushions were burgundy red, one was forest green, and one was a medium green), largely to hide the original color of the darker cushions. As the original instructions stated, I did let each coat fully dry before applying the next coat. The first coat soaked in like crazy making me wonder if the whole process would work, but each coat stayed a bit more, with that first coat making a barrier of sorts for the further applications to stick to.The end result is kind of a vinyl-y type surface, but it is very flexible. It also handles getting wet very well and makes for a very wipeable surface. The paint I used was a SW satin acrylic paint which produced more of a sheen on three of the cushions than the fourth (the cushions were all different originally, which other than wanting a specific color, we had wanted a cohesive look and that is why I painted all of them).Although I am sure there are many other uses for this fabric medium, I am very happy with the usage, and results for outdoor furniture cushions and can highly recommend it for this purpose.
