I love tulip fabric paints, I prefer them over all other brands. When I saw this one advertised as “soft” I grabbed it in purple because I needed to paint the edges of a sleeveless top and didn’t want the paint to feel scratchy. I used a yellow tulip “slick” paint to paint a simple design on the front chest of the same top.Welp, it’s not remotely soft. It’s so scratchy and uncomfortable that I now have to order a nude colored long sleeve to go under this costume top.On the shirt I compared the textures between the purple “soft” paint and the yellow “slick” paint and tbh there’s not much difference. In fact, if anything the “soft” paint is scratchier.Yes the coverage is superb, like all other tulip paints. But, not worth the higher cost charged for the “soft” paint bottles.

Tried to paint a shirt with this but it does not spread well at all. I eventually gave up on the shirt because I was trying to paint the whole thing...but if you have a small area to paint it’s good quality.
