Great quality & size - so easy to set up - similar design to a pop-up canopy but dog crate size, so one person can pop it up & fold - a bit tight getting it into the bag, but that gets easier each time.

We recently ordered a similar product for when we are traveling with our pup, and while this one is significantly more expensive ($50), it solves all of the issues we had with the other travel crate and is well worth it!This crate reminds me a lot of the pack-n-play we had for our kid when they were younger, in all of the best ways. The supports are sturdy and I have no concern about this unless you were really going to to throw this off of a roof. Assembly was quick, though I did come across an area to be aware of. One of the support rods seemed like it was defective as I would pull it up and it wouldn't click into place. It was one of the last ones, and eventually after tugging in every possible direction did get it to pull and snap in place, seems that with everything else clicked in it was slightly out of alignment and needed to be pulled more out to get it to lock. Once locked it was solid. I like that this has four openings with mesh screens. This will work for our pup who goes into here just to sleep, but I would be concerned how well it would hold up to a dog that wants to paw/claw at the mesh. Compared to the metal create we have for our pup at home this is much lighter, and because it compacts more rather than just folding flat, it's a lot easier to carry around. The two big improvements over the other collapsible travel crate we got are:1) the bed is removable. In the other crate this was sewn in place, which had me worried if there was a spill or mess that it would be a real pain to clean2) This collapses down to a much smaller and easier to carry size. The other one essentially folded flat (like the metal crate we normally use), making it thinner than this, but also just as wide as our metal crate and still a pain to man handle (though it might potentially be easier to slide into a thin spot when traveling, but...). With the carry case this comes with everything is nice an compactly stored, and it wasn't an issue to put it back in after testing it out, the other one had some straps, but still seemed rather floppy. If you've got a chill dog this is absolutely a great temporary or travel crate, and we are looking forward to this over their usual metal crate when we next travel.

This is an excellent travel kennel. I love how easy this is to set up and use. This kennel folds into such as small bag that it could fit in a carry-on suitcase. I am excited to use this for my dog. She had no issues transitioning to this kennel and I'm excited to embrace the freedom to travel that this kennel will provide. The canvas is thick, sturdy, and easy to use. The zippers slide easily and are sturdy. My dog is comfortable inside and I love the design of this kennel with the variety of openings and the mesh design that allows for airflow to help keep my pup cool.
