I carefully followed the sizing instructions from the Nomad site, which indicated that I was in the low end of Large, but they are too small - they are almost identical size to Aftco medium. Bummer.

I fish saltwater. Based on the quality of the several Nomad lures I own, I tried a pair of their gloves. Nomad needs to work on their product extension into gloves.I found these gloves to be light and they could be functional. I wanted to protect my left thumb as it lays the braid on the reel and to protect both hands from sun. BUT the Nomad gloves labeled "Large" are made too small to be comfortable and can't use them.I have older AFTCO gloves at "Large" that fit well.UPDATE:I just got my new "large " AFTCO gloves. The appear bigger. They underlay the Nomad with the similar AFTCO glove exposed.... they are bigger. Without going full-tilt CSI, the exemplar finger measured was the little finger, right hand. The AFTCO glove's little finger was over 1/8 inch longer....enough to affect comfort and feel.The Nomads are nice light gloves, but if you order, please go up one size up from your normal gloves.

I like the Nomad Design products. These appear to be really good quality for jigging -- nice materials, good balance. But, the fingers are way too short for me -- otherwise they fit to size. You'd have to have pretty short fingers for these to fit properly. I bought the XL size. I guess I need to buy gloves where I can try them on first.

Read the product details with particular interest to the materials. I am allergic to Neoprene and have had some severe reactions to products that contain it, including one hospitalization. Extensive review of this item convinced me that they were Neoprene free. I was encouraged by the description that informed that these were made of leather. No mention of Neoprene. After my first wearing- you guessed it: Allergic reaction! I am convinced that these gloves contain Neoprene- even though there is no such mention of it in any of their product descriptions.If you have a Neoprene allergy like I do- DO NOT BUY these gloves!Nomad Design- I recommend you include a COMPLETE materials description in your product listings.
