I typically wear the sneaker-style of slip-resistant shoes for my job, but was interested in this style of "Jacata Non Slip Black Work Shoes for Women Food Service" since they looked comfortable. However, the sizing or fit seems to be off as they are rather wide and large despite ordering my regular size.The slip resistance on these shoes seems slightly less "grabby" or slip-resistant to my brand-name style shoes, while the support is rather minimal (but even my regular shoes seem to offer minimal support as well). These appear to be durable, but because they fit my feet rather loosely, I doubt I'll wear these to work with any frequency due to the way the shoes move up and down when I wear them. Perhaps in the winter I could try some really thick socks, but for now I'm worried about getting raw places on the back of my heel with the way that these don't fit snugly.I wish that these shoes had a better fit, which would make these a better value for the money in my opinion. As it stands, because the fit is not accurate and rather wide, these aren't working for me. Thanks for reading.

These nonslip work shoes are a lifesaver! Comfortable and safe, they provide excellent traction on slippery surfaces, giving me peace of mind during long shifts. I can slip into the shoes but I have to use my hands to get into them. I can walk on slippery surfaces and I feel the arch support from the included insoles. The insoles have the brand name Jacata printed in white on them and are removable and I can add my own as well but I like those. The give me also cushioning. The fit is true to size. Inside the shoes, I see it's made of synthetic material, made in China and I see it's a men's size is 8.5 which is a women's 10. The black surface of the shoes are easy to clean and don't stain easily.

I tried these shoes on a busy night at the restaurant I work at. First of all I think they are nice looking. They seem lightweight and have great slip resistance. The bottom of the sole has that typical non slip sole that is needed in a restaurant. Especially walking through the dish pit or anywhere you might come in contact with water. I found them to be fairly comfortable with a normal size toe bed. They seem durable and overall I liked them ok but they slipped off my heel constantly. So much so I wore an extra insole inside which did help a little. I have plantar fasciitis only in my left foot so I try and judge shoes solely by how it feels on my normal right foot. I do want to mention though in case you have plantar fasciitis these shoes made that worse on my left foot I believe due to the shoe constantly slipping off the back and not hugging my heel like I need it to.

Based on the reviews I read about the sizing of these shoes, and that they were basically men's sizes, I decided to try these slip-on shoes. They are not the highest quality shoes that I have ever had, and they do look and feel a bit cheap, but they are functional for my needs, which is to use them as casual shoes, mostly around the house. I do think that there are better options out there for $40+.

Very happy with these shoes! Quality is pretty good for the price, and they fit as expected. The soles are very grippy, especially on tile floors. They don't look fancy but they don't look cheap either. Hard to say how durable they are since I haven't worn them for very long, but will update this review if I ever have any issues.

I really, really like these shoes and I'm just so surprised by how much so. They offer great support as and were very comfortable. So appreciated with the very painful plantar fasciitis in my left foot. When I read the description for these shoes, I decided to give them a try, not expecting much and not loving the way they look. I don't do any of the jobs that were mentioned in the product write-up but definitely need better support so I can heal and not worsen my condition or get it in my other foot. I wear an 8.5 ladies and they fit perfectly. I love that they just slip-on rather than have to deal with tying laces. They stretched just enough to get my feet on without them feeling too loose or slipping & sliding on my foot. They have great traction, almost too much. The only thing that I don't like about them is the noise they make when walking especially on hard surfaces. Think Nurse Ratchet sounds. LOL but they're so comfortable and lessen the pain so well that I just don't care. I will be wearing them mainly outside where I didn't even notice the sound. Highly recommend. Great price. These are grand! I live in New Orleans and work in the Quarter. I finally had a chance to test these bad boys out in a washout. I had nothing but a poncho to arm me against the weather. My socks stayed dry and my piggies stayed warm. I didn't slip at all on my walk, and I was comfortable. Not one droplet entered through these shoes. I highly recommend these for all your waterproof/non slip needs.
