These are good for a quick fix starter pair if you e just started a kitchen job and need to get a couple paychecks under your belt before you get some actually good kitchen shoes. I’ve used mine for about 3 months for the typical 8-12 hour 5 days a week shift that most of us work and after three months I definitely need a better pair of work shoes, but again they are a decent starter pair.

I bought these for my kitchen job and they fit very well, but very little support in them. However, I work short shifts so that makes almost no difference to me. The sole is a bit stiffer than I would like but it did relax after a few months. They fit well, don't pinch, I haven't slipped around much (once on ice in the freezer!) and are still holding up well.In the interest of full disclosure though, I did buy new laces since I like mine long. I can't speak to their longevity because of that.

Shoe isn't completely waterproof. Just the bottom, which is slip proof. Shoes are comfortable and have a wide toe area. I work with chemicals and haven't bleached any spots into them. I likw them for the purpose I bought them for. Would buy again!

Perfect uniform shoe. My daughter wears a uniform to school and after years of buying “school shoes” we found these. She thinks they’re all day comfortable and that works for me. Good for gym days and non-gym days and the dress code. And price is right.

These are sleek, spacious and comfortable for sure, but didn't hold up for a 13 hour shift. If you need the for about a 6 hour shift, you'll be fine. If not, maybe get thicker insoles for these.Update (12/12/24):The insole has started to rip away. The foam under my heal is breaking off so might need new insoles soon. For reference I've used these for 4 months now.

I have been using this for one and half years and I have to say it is okay. The sole has already come apart but still usable. Of course it is been used rought but it was made to be used rough. May be I can use for one and half more years. The outside it okay, but the strap won't hold much longer. I have been looking same product and I can see that this shoe don't have strap version anymore but only has shoes layes version.

These shoes were very efficient for 6 months. Then the seam on the side of my foot busted out. The comfort of the insole was not as comfortable as I had I had envisioned based on the descriptors

I work at a busy busy restaurant and we are always slipping on water on the ground. Other “nonslip” shoes Ive purchased have sucked and I would always slip, in the bathroom in the kitchen. It was bad. With these shoes they fit so nice on my feet, my feet r comfortable and super breathable. Worth it, i recommend getting other insoles to replace the ones it comes with for arch support but other than that, love love totally recommend!!

Really disappointed because I saw the tread texture and thought it would work. The shoes come with an extra pair of laces. Very thin insoles and you would definitely need to maybe buy some Dr. Scholls if you’re standing on your feet for 5+ hours. They are definitely lightweight.I’m not sure what kitchen these reviews have been saying, but they definitely will not work for my workplace. I tested them at home on my marble flooring. I dropped about a puddle of water and my shoes were slipping and sliding all over the place. They will not work if you need to mop or if there’s risk of dropping food on the ground. When the floor was dry, it worked fine. It was okay I guess, but not for me. I returned immediately.

I work in food environment and these shoes are just what I need.I have experience with this SPIEZ shoe brand and they certainly impressed me once again. This pair of slip resistant food service work shoe is lightweight and I ordered this pair half a UK size larger than I needed, and it fitted nicely. The sole is rubbery and very grippy in my fast food floor environment. The shoe fits my feet nicely and they feel firmly flat and the contoured inner sole feels supportive. No matter If I wore thin or thicker socks. My whole foot felt fully seated onto the luxurious and super comfortable inner sole. Once the shoelace is tied up, the whole shoe felt comfy and held my whole foot well. It feels so light bendy and easy to walk in as they are. Straight out of the box and was flexible and bendy without having to wear them in first. After wearing them for 5 hours and with alot of walking back and forth in the takeaway, my foot feels well supported and not tired because the soles are comfortable and yet so lightweight. These are ideal for those who are on their feet for hours and want comfort and lightweight work place shoes. The fabric is breathable but my foot feels well vented and not hot and sweaty. The seams and how the shoe is assembled looks strong and long lasting. A very high quality and well made shoe from SPIEZ. I have several pairs of this brand and they give me the impression they don't cut corners. I am very happy and fully satisfied with this shoe. Fantastic value for money.
