Heavy-duty gate hinges with heavy-duty hardware included.I did not expect these to be as robust and heavy as they are. When I received the box, I thought it was a four-piece set of other pergola hardware I had ordered. To my pleasant surprise, I found these well-made gate hinges. I will be ordering another set when I need to replace my other gate. Highly recommended.

I endeavored to re-hang a gate, and I am SO GLAD I ordered these for the project.Installation was a breeze, but that's also part of the 1-star subtraction - they're durable and heavy duty, but I'm used to using lag bolts, not deck-screws to secure my hinges, and these definitely aren't drilled for anything larger than a #8 deck-style screw.That said, I filled every possible screw hole with a screw, and they've been solid ever since. I like the ability to adjust gate level/gap-distance by just tightening/loosening bolts, so you can make as small adjustments as you need.

Not much to say here; these are quality hinges that come with all the pieces you need to attach to a gate. We used it on a new garden we set up with a low fence to keep bigger animals out of. Nice to have a self-closing gate as part of the set up.The hinges themselves are heavy and look great. Nice powder coating finish that is seamless all around.Easy to set up and configure, nothing complicated there. Self-closing works pretty flawlessly (and smoothly).For under ~$25, this is a great kit if you need self-closing hinges and they fit your setup. Be sure to measure before ordering, need at least .2" of space but you can go all the way to 1.2" which is pretty flexible.

I have a 42" wooden gate with pickets on both sides. It sort of swings closed, but only when I give it a push or a pull. The dogs know if I did this even before I know. Then I get a call from a neighbor saying my dogs are rolling in their flowers.....Gates get heavy and sag, so I need a set of hinges that can support a wide, heavy wooden gate, and swing completely shut. I was happily surprised by the sturdy construction, the strong springs, adjustment tool and VERY WELL WRITTIN INSTRUCTIONS. I am happy and the dogs are stumped by how quick the gate swings closed. 5 Stars!

Although I doubt it would make much difference in the performance of the hinges they are listed as cast iron and NOT welded. They are not cast and the main adjusting screw has a weld joining the two halves of the hinge. The weld "looks" good and if it is there "probably" would not be a problem but it is definitely described wrong.
