Your cart is empty.DSO138 was designed as a training oscilloscope kit. Simplicity in structure and easiness in assembly/operation are among the main targets of the design. For these purpose DSO138 uses mostly through-hole parts. The heart of DSO138 is a Cortex-M3 ARM processor (STM32F103C8) from ST. It uses 2.4-inch TFT LCD (320 X 240 dotmatrix, 262K colors) as its display element and displays nice and clear waveforms. Detailed assembly instructions are provided, along with a troubleshooting guide and schematic. Source code is also available to allow user to add their own features. This DSO13803K kits have all the SMD parts pre-soldered. The MCU has been pre-programmed and no re-programming required. Arrived in a bubble envelope in 1 day (Amazon Prime) but cost about 5 times more than the ten bucks I last paid on AliExpress (but you have to wait 8 weeks for Ali shipping). This is my second kit for this scope. Sadly the surface mount components are already soldered on so only the through-hole stuff needs to be soldered. The documentation is good. Photos attached.

I like it a lot -- I had great fun building it. My only complaint was that one value of the ceramic capacitors was illegible; since it was only for one size (verified) it was pretty easy to figure out where all of these went. Easy to read, checklist assembly instructions -- easy to use, easy to follow. There were some clusters of small solder joints in relative proximity. It powered on. It tests well; the test/callibration seems good, only the amplitude seems to be a little high. Looking at it, I have a few weak solder joints. I'l get to those. I still like it, it was great fun just to build. Cheers!
