We got this for mainly breakfast items. The ceramic non-stick surface is great. We used to butter and oil our pans, because they're not this slick, but they're heavier duty pans. For something like eggs, which are quick and easy, this does that without even having to need those.Don't get me wrong, I still love my stainless steel and cast iron, but for the quick and easy stuff, this works like magic.Clean up is a breeze also. Soft sponge and drying rag for a quick wipe, and it's good to go again. We were very surprised with how easy this pan worked for us, and very happy with it as well.

I've been using this pan for over a month now, and honestly, it's just okay. For non-stick, I find my Caraway pans to outperform this, and they only cost about 25% more. The pan is light, takes a while to heat up, and don't expect to use it to sauté. Also, I didn't receive the lid; however, after viewing others' photos, I'm okay with that.

A wonderful 8.2 inch nonstick ceramic coated sauté skillet. Look great and cooks even better. The pan depth of the skillet is 2 inches.A excellent buy! Cheers!

This is my new favorite frying pan! Very well constructed with even heat distribution. I've been slowly replacing all my cookware with teflon surfaces. This aluminum skillet with the ceramic coating has performed marvelously! I love that it's oven safe - I've never really had a skillet before that was, so I'm intrigued to see how this might expand my cooking repertoire. The handle does stay cool to touch when cooking on the stove. The lid fits perfectly, but the handle does get warm. I'm very pleased with this pan and will be happily swapping out my old teflon pan for this one.

It still shocks me the price that people can ask for a simple sauté pan and lid. While Nordic war is not notorious for its quality craftsmanship, I still think $70 for one pan is highly outrageous. I have only used it once and so far, it has performed very nicely, however, it is a very lightweight pan. I normally go for heavier pans because they tend to hold the heat better and prevent hotspots. Time will tell with this one. However, the lid itself leaves a lot to be desired. It is extremely thin, and I am afraid it’s going to bend or dent very easily in the future. I normally like glass lids because you can see through them without having to remove the lid and have all the heat escape the pan. I’m not sure why they chose to have a metal lid. So far, I am happy with this pan, I just don’t think it justifies a $70 price tag.

I will start by saying that it was totally my mistake I did not read the listing correctly because this will absolutely not work in an induction stove. Not a problem I have a rental house which has a gas stove and it worked perfectly there. This thing is absolutely massive and so solidly constructed you can just tell that this is true quality. I made some chicken on it last night and it grilled to perfection. Now I really hate that I don't have a gas stove because I would love to keep using this pan in my own house instead of in my Airbnb but I'm sure my guests are absolutely going to love it and appreciate having luxury cookware. I very highly recommend this pan but obviously not if you have induction

Wife review*: This is the perfect ceramic pan for stir fry - or actually anything, for that matter. It is now my go-to pan when cooking for larger groups. It is non-stick and this large 12" sauté skillet does a great job in holding the heat. The lightweight lid does its job and fits tightly on the pan. The skillet pan is a lot heavier and I feel they complement each other well. It’s easy to clean and has the look of quality. Nordic Ware is known for making quality cookware, and this cookware isn’t cheap. But with that said, I think you can trust and enjoy this cookware for years to come.* My wife Pam reviews items for me where the appeal may be more towards women than men, or where she has more experience with an item than I have. For example, I readily defer to Pam's judgment about women's clothing and jewelry. I edit and post her notes and I take full responsibility for the veracity of our reviews.

I used this for the first time last night and I was super impressed. Nothing stuck to the pan and it cleans super easy. Cooking was easy and heat distributed evenly. The pan also has a nice weight to it so it's durable and built to last. The lid is pretty lightweight but I don't really plan on using the lid that often so it's not a big deal to me. It came packaged really well (a box inside another box) so I had no issues with anything being damaged during transit. Since I've only used it once I can't attest to how it'll last long-term but so far so good.
