The truth is, I’ve been bending the bills on my caps for years just fine without the assistance of this device.However, this device does idiot proof the processI have at times bent a cap bill crookedly after which I have to slowly try and correct my mistake by re-bending it.I am sure that anyone who wears baseball caps is familiar with what I am describing.You cannot adjust the angle at which this device bends the bill of your cap.You can only control that by how long you leave the bill of your cap bent in the device and by whether or not you choose to steam your bill before using this device.So now if I bend a cap bill crookedly rather than having to put time into trying to slowly correct the bend of the bill into a better looking shape I can now simply stick it in this device.It is a very very small convenience
