About this item

  • 25mm (1") length cylindrical jaw
  • Can be used as compression mode spigot jaws
  • Superior grip

Nova Pin Jaws operate like a pin chuck but without the hassles! An extended 25mm (1") length cylindrical jaw expands into a 25mm (1") or larger hole and grips the workpiece like a traditional pin chuck. Jaws can also be used as compression mode spigot jaws.

I upgraded my pin jaw set from a lesser quality brand and very happy with the results now.

Great quality like other Nova products. Come in handy for those smaller turnings.

Like all the Teknatool products this set of jaws is manufactured very well. It's one of those jaw sets that is interchangeable on the Supernova2 chuck and makes life a lot easier and cheaper for the woodturner. I don't use this very often but when I do need a pin jaw set this is the one I use and it has never failed to hold the turning. Works in expansion mode into a predrilled hole but I've also used it in the contraction mode for smaller turnings.

I really like this set of jaws as I enjoy turning minatures! It's small, has a great 'pass through' capability and long throat... A great accessory to have in your turning toolkit and I highly recommend it...of course, it's made by Nova!!!

The jaws work okay for drilling pen blanks but need some adjusting to get the blanks center. It gets old changing out the jaws when needed. A second chuck and jaws would be much more convenient.

This is a good set of pin jaws, and are well made for their intended use.I would prefer the working part of these jaws to be 2" long instead of 1".Also, I would prefer two attachment screws per jaw.
