Seem good value, a few which are broken or unuseable but not many out of the entire bag and for the price they are what I expected. Good buy I think.

I ordered these with a mix of crafting and repair plans in mind. Basically, there are many uses for short, thin sticks of uniform size.These come shipped in two plastic bags within a larger plastic bag. Both of the smaller bags had holes in them, leaking the sticks as I tried to figure out a new container for them. As you can see in the pic, I did find one. Don't count on the bags they shipped in for storage.The sticks have a strong glue odor on opening, though my oldest thought there was also a blueberry scent to them. I don't know. My youngest and I didn't smell anything but glue. It was unpleasant, and while it wouldn't keep me from working with the sticks, it does make me wonder if I shouldn't try airing them out first.The sticks are all cut to the same max length. There are a fair number of defective pieces, but they remain a small portion of the overall supply. Defects I found included short pieces, thin pieces, bent pieces, curved pieces, and pieces that were full length but not full width for that entire length. Some of these might still be useful, depending on your plans for them. The sticks that are whole are about as strong as you'd expect for a thin piece of wood. Use some common sense in working with them, and they should work for most things you'd reasonably attempt with thin pieces of wood.I did not even begin to try to count them to see how close they came to the promised 2,000 pieces. There are a lot, and this will last us a long time unless someone goes nuts with matchstick crafting.

These matchsticks are exactly what you'd expect. They are great for arts and crafts. We collect little pieces of wooden items for the grandkids to build and make things out of and these are great for all sorts of imaginations. They also worked really well for fixing a stripped nail hole in a door.
