I'm currently in vet tech and I bought this just to pack with my sutures. This has been a lot of fun to practice with and it holds up really great that I've been able to practice multiple times on each cut. It's very easy to wash as I've accidentally dropped it in dirt while carrying it and it went straight off perfectly. Nothing has broken and everything has worked great.

This is a great way to practice your sutures. I don't think that it simulates actual skin very well, but it does give you realistic wounds to stitch up and it helps with getting you sutures correctly formed and improves your speed. The material that it is made of self heels so it is reusable multiple times. But, once you taste sutures with this practice pad, you will still need more practice eon actual skin, but this will give you a leg up on the learning curve.
