Ik heb dit toestel nog niet zo lang maar wel al 3x gebruikt en het werkt perfect. Het enige jammere is dat de inhoud wat klein is. Ik dacht dat 3L wel ging toekomen maar nu had ik toch graag meer inhoud kunnen vullen.Wij zijn maar een gezin van 2 maar eten redelijk wat groenten en fruit en dan is deze snel gevuld en zou ik hem minstens 3x per week moeten gebruiken. Het toestel heeft acht uur nodig om 1 inhoud af te werken en dit 3x/w = 24u/wDat aan 450W/uur komt overeen met 3600W x 3 = 10800W extra verbruik per week wat ik toch behoorlijk veel vindt als je geen zonnepanelen hebt. Heel jammer want de compost is echt wel supper, ruikt goed en is kurkdroog en de pot zelf blijft heel erg proper. Gewoon met een droge doek of borstel uitvegen en klaar voor de volgende lading 😁

It worked wonderfully! We read the instructions to make sure we weren't putting stuff in it that we weren't supposed to.Two weeks later it stopped dehydrating the stuff.We followed common troubleshooting steps and contacted support to troubleshoot as well.Ended up returning it.Bad.

We have a big family size so we get alot of organic waste by the end of the day and its expensive to throw it away in new bags every day. We bought this so we can crush the big loads into small organic waste that eventually we can use as fertilizer in the summer. The only downside is we have to wait hours for it to complete but honestly, its worth the wait because it reduces the waste by almost 90%. I totally recommend this for large families or high food producing households.

The best part is that it operates quietly and transforms all of my waste into high-quality compost for my garden. This is done within just a few hours. The size is ideal for smaller spaces. I don’t mind keeping it out on my countertop as it has a sleek, modern design. The instruction manual is straightforward and easy to follow. I like this composter-works great to reduce most of our kitchen scraps and is relatively quiet. But after 9 months it stopped working. The LED panel comes on briefly as the lid is being closed then goes dark, and the unit will not turn on. I have sent a Nutrichef a support request, so will see what they come up with.

When my mom moved to a condo in a new community for older people, she still has a full kitchen and enjoys cooking. Farm to table veggies and fresh fruits are a huge part of her diet and her CSA delivers to her door. And composting food scraps is mandatory in our state. Uuugh. It’s difficult to compost if you do not have land or a designated place. There is odor and flies if you leave it on the counter.Composting is allowing food to break down into basic organic matter and frankly, it can be stinky. This 3 liter countertop composter makes life easier and there is no residual odor in her kitchen. There are filters to change occasionally.It’s easy to use with the following functionsFor composting:DryGrind or CrushCoolCleanI did use a prepackaged compost starter but I do not think it is required. Up to 3L of food scraps can be added and processed easily. Fruit and vegetables, coffee grounds and loose tea are amazing additions to make a rich compost for house plants or outdoor plants or to just scatter back to the earth.Supporting an environmentally conscious method of using food scraps and making sure my mom’s kitchen stays free of odors (and flies etc) is important. I’m very happy with this.

I am amazed by this compost machine, it's capacity and the results.This is a wonderful alternative if you need to have less garbage and it fits pretty much all the waste from one day. There are many food items that can be handled in the bin - from fruits to coffee grinds to many, many other items. There is no noise with this machine and it only takes few hours to transform all your waste into perfect, ready to use flower and garden compost.The size is perfect for small spaces and also its look is very modern making it a perfect addition to our kitchen. The instruction book is easy to follow and there is nothing major to assemble. The materials are sturdy and dishwasher safe. Definitely a great and affordable solution.

In der Küche gammelt nix mehr vor sich hin, seit das Teil hier steht. Das Ding frisst alles was an Essensresten so übrig bleibt – von Gemüseabfällen bis zu altem Brot oder bisschen matschigem Obst, kommt alles rein. Und das Beste: es riecht dabei echt kaum was. Der Deckel schließt gut ab und der Zersetzungsprozess läuft ziemlich geräuscharm. Klar, komplett lautlos ist es nicht, aber dafür dass er organischen Müll quasi wegzaubert, kann man da gut drüber hinwegsehen. Der Selbstreinigungsmodus is ‘ne nette Sache, auch wenn man trotzdem ab und zu mal mit nem Lappen durchwischen sollte. Bedienung ist simpel – ein Knopf und der Rest läuft von alleine, auch wenn die Symbole auf dem Display bisschen kryptisch wirken am Anfang. Was mir auch aufgefallen ist: das Fassungsvermögen mit 3L reicht für ne kleine Küche locker aus, wenn man regelmäßig leert, aber bei größeren Haushalten könnte es schnell zu wenig sein. Vom Design her passt er gut in die Küche, sieht nicht klobig oder nach Hightech-Mülltonne aus, sondern eher clean und unauffällig. Der Stromverbrauch hält sich scheinbar auch in Grenzen, hab keinen großen Unterschied auf der Stromrechnung gemerkt. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist, dass man die Reste nicht direkt als Gartenkompost nutzen kann – das was rauskommt sieht zwar trocken aus, muss aber nochmal nachkompostiert werden wenn man’s richtig verwenden will. Trotzdem: viel weniger Müll, weniger stinkende Müllbeutel und einfach ein besseres Gefühl, weil nicht alles sofort in die Tonne wandert. Das Teil is aufjedenfall kein Gimmick, sondern macht tatsächlich Sinn – besonders wenn man versucht bisschen nachhaltiger im Alltag zu leben.

As advertised, not noisy. The bucket doesn't always set properly right away. Dried bread works best. Otherwise, VERY happy with the composter! We don't plan to use meat or bones so can't review those items. Feel good about recycling veggie & fruit scraps, egg shells, and coffee grounds. Great purchase!

I have a couple unpleasant experience with this machine. The machine worked fine on the 1st composting. After the 2nd composting was done, the power, clean, and filter lights came on. I unplugged it and tried the 3rd composting (all these were done during a 2 day period). The next morining when I checked on the machine, all the panel lights were flushing. I couldn't get it to turn off. So I unplugged it and returned the machine.I ordered a 2nd one thinking that I was just unlucky to have gotten a lemon. And guess what? The same thing happened all over again. I am glad that others who bought this composter have great experience with it but not me.I tried it the 2nd time because I really like the oderless and quietness of the machine. Too bad it didn't function properly for me.
