I have a 3/4" PVC condensate line. The end of heat trace does not fit in the pipe and would certainly not turn a 90 degree corner. The listing says it is meant for 2 1/2" pipe and smaller, but it is not. It may work for pipe as small as 1" but probably not, I'd say dont expect it to work on pipe less than 1 1/4"
