The templates are made of MDF or some other type of paperboard and are NOT acrylic. The main pattern template also comes in two pieces which could create issues lining up the awl holes if you were using this for leather.

The only thing needed to gain a five star rating is a page of tips or directions.With nothing but the picture on Amazon as a guide, they might be a challenge for a beginner.

The large bag body shown in the picture as one piece is actually is cut in half. I wouldn't mind except the holes don't line up and the pieces are off by about a mm. they don't line up. I would expect to get what is shown in the picture. I'm not happy as I now have to fudge around to get the template to line up. If you look at the picture you can see that the holes skip where the pieces join. if this were one piece as shown in the ad this wouldn't be a problem

Terrible purchase. I did not read the full description that instructions were Not included. Thought I could figure it out but absolutely not. Was not even sent in a box to see what finished product would look like. That was problematic because it was a gift.

Wou.d be much better if the stitching line holes were actually big enough to use with a punch or at least big enough to get a marker of some kine through them.Other than that, the pattern works as expected, even the tassel pattern.For those that absolutely Must-Have instructions, leatherwork probably isn't your thing.

The acrylic purse pattern pieces are of good quality and the pieces are named and self explanatory to purse makers and even for beginners. I removed the brown paper off wondering if the item has the etching of what the piece is and it does. The pieces are strong and edges are not too sharp. I will buy more pattern pieces of this brand.
