This durable pocket file is large and wide enough to hold receipts for a year. There is a close button with an elastic clasp in the front. It even comes with label tabs! It was less than half the price Staples was charging for the same size. I am so impressed. A rare find!

I file most of my receipts from purchases I think I may have to return. Stores now are giving you the lowest price they have sold products for. If you have paid more then it pays to keep your receipts, this is a great item to do this in. I bought this to replace another one I had that was a paper cardboard so I think this will hold up much better.

This organizer looks like it will serve the purpose - keeping monthly statements separated. It is about an inch thick - so if you have more papers than that thickness, it won't accordion-expand the file. The little inserts for the tab names are blank. The finish on the tab inserts is glossy - doesn't take gel ink well at all. I used my label maker instead. The "lock" is the elastic band around a button in the front of the organizer. It made a nice tight closure, but we'll see how it holds up over time.
