Great product and easy to use. Placed them in water don’t push it down. Let the water soak it naturally. We also added plant food which helped prolong the life of the flowers. We made the centerpieces the afternoon before a morning wedding and the flowers kept really well. We also placed them in the refrigerator over night.

This oasis kept my cut greenery fresh outside for well over a month ... never had to add any water at all and they didn’t dry out a bit. I will definitely buy this brand again. Price was excellent and shipping was very fast.

J'ai acheté cette mousse verte pour faire une décoration florale dans des récipients bas, longs et étroits. Le résultat était un émerveillement pour les yeux. Je l'ai déjà vu employée aux Etats-Unis, mais en France, c'est introuvable, sauf sur Amazon.

There was a bit of a learning curve to these but after YouTubing a video or two I got the hang of it. The arrangements we used these for looked perfect and held up for several days! We used them for our wedding arrangements and made the arrangements the morning on the day before the wedding. Per something I’d read I did soak the floral foam in water with liquid plant food in it for several days prior to using it.

This product is perfect for fresh flowers.It absorbs so much water which is great for my flowers because they can last longer.I’m only giving it 4 star because the packaging is not well sealed and if this product is shipped with other items, expect them all to be dusted with the material of the foam. I hope the plastic wrap packaging was more sealed. Other than that, the function, absorbent feature and quality is great. I would absolutely buy this product again!

These came well packaged and is good quality. As part of a birthday party, I thought it would be fun to teach kids flower arranging. I ordered mason jars, bought flowers from Costco, and used this in the mason jars. The kids enjoyed soaking the wet foam, plopping it in the jar, and picking / arranging their favorite flowers which they took home as part of the goody bag. We had 12 kids at the party and I still have tons of this left so I can use it on some more projects.

Ned's wife: Have tried cheaper versions and they don't absorb water very well.Be sure to follow directions re soaking first. For making flowers last longer I use a floral conditioner:RECIPEa pint of filtered water,a teaspoon of powdered Vitamin C and" " " sugar anda bit of bleach or iodine. I like iodine better bec it's so dilute it won't stain whereas bleach could lighten if it spills.Let Oasis soak it up for a half hour or more. I use a #202 can to hold it down so it absorbs faster.Those are just approximations since I don't measure. You could substitute with a can of non-diet Seven-Up or any fizzy citrus.Change the water every other day.Be sure to strip off lower leaves so none of the flower's leaves are in the water. They will rot and cause mold & bacteria growth.

I recently moved to a whole new area, so I don't know where to look for anything that's not in the grocery store or WalMart! When it was time to decorate for Christmas, I didn't have time to search for Oasis, and as usual, Amazon didn't let me down. If you've never used this, it's for arranging cut flowers, branches, greens--things that need to be kept watered. It can be easily cut to size and shape. Soak it in water for a bit and place in container. Stems stay put once inserted into foam...makes arranging very easy. It's a little crumbly, so I store it in a plastic tub in the garage.
