Solid scanner for the price. The Bluetooth works great—no cables to mess with, just plug it in and read codes right on your phone. Bonus points for the battery check feature, which came in handy on a weak start. Compact enough to toss in the glove box. If you're a DIYer or just like keeping tabs on your ride, this thing gets the job done without breaking the bank.

I ordered this for my husband since his check engine light kept going on and off periodically but he didn't want to bring it in every time, so when I saw this at such a reasonable price, I ordered it. It does a pretty decent job a pulling codes and is easy to use. Granted, their has been times where he couldn't make sense of the codes given to him, like when he hooked it up to our daughters car.

Yeah it works I guess but it's a cheap one and the instructions just tell you how to turn it on that's it . Need details this scanner seems like it's got a kit of cool features but good luck understanding how to use them

These scanners are always great to have and for the price this one works great! I haven't had any issues with it. Super simple to use just like any of the others I have. Nice sized screen. Works great

We have an older car that runs great - most of the time. On the few times it has not started or is making a noise it shouldn't make, I have had to either have it towed or stop by a mechanic or auto parts store to have them run a diagnostic - and the mechanic charges for this service. I have also had it happen that a code is showing and I had it fixed but they forgot to reset the code so I have to take it back to have them do it. Hallelujah that I can now do all of that myself! This little tool is small enough to fit in the glove box so you always have it handy, it is super easy to use, and works great. It does way more than I have used, but I like knowing there are other features to explore - as the need comes up. The price point on this is amazing for what it does. I am so grateful to have this. It gives me a feeling of security.

Years ago, I had a very cheap version of one of these code readers. It could only show me the number of a code, and I had to go look up what the code meant on the web.This one is MUCH more user friendly with tons of information screens.My car isn't currently throwing any maintenance or trouble codes so the screens aren't showing much that is interesting.With my last car a code reading device like this was very useful to self diagnose why the infamous 'Check Engine' indicator was coming on in my car. Turned out was able to decipher the issue and replace the part causing the problem cheaply from an auto parts store.These little devices can save you a lot of money in the right situation, so I'm glad to have this on hand when issue arise in the future.

You need to be sure it works with your vehicle, and that's not easy to find out. It doesn't work with my 2015 KIA Soul, for example, even though the car seems to have the required features. I'm hoping it will some time in the future, but there doesn't seem to be any way to find out.
