This works great but, the packaging needs work. Some arrived missing pieces due to the thin plastic bag they were in.

This unit was cheap and it works. The hose that connects the tip to the ear pieces is far to short so you end up feeling like you have your head inside the machine under test. I'm using it to check bearings on machine tools buti using it in the engine compartment of a car or truck would be a real problem.The earpieces are designed for a very small head. If you spread them wide enough to fit an adult, they go into the ear at an uncomfortable angle and don't seal very well. I'd look for the ones that have a curve in them that allow the earpieces to go straight in much like a "real" doctor's stethoscope.Before you buy any device like this make sure it'll reach into whatever you're inspecting and still be comfortable to use.
