The forward-facing adjustable straps included in the kit securely attach to your existing T-Top frame and the rear stern facing traps attach to the 2 telescopic poles that are inserted into your existing stern mounted rod holders and are further secured by attached and tightening down to your existing stern cleats or rails. The design allows for easy removal, facilitating convenient, space saving storage when not in use.

Purchased mine directly from Oceansouth but only because I didn't know they were sold on Amazon. Living in Florida, shade is a premium and this thing does the work well. It is extremely well made and I leave it connected to my t-top and roll it up so it's easy to deploy. The stainless poles are amazingly well made and help the shade to not move at all.I also purchased a front shade but it is more like a tent that draws down tight to the sides. I wish they made a true shade like the back for the front. I may buy another one to use the poles and modify the shade cover over my front for days we want more shade.
