I purchased this item to use with dishing my animals dry food into their dishes. I chose this product because it states "USA" as "country of origin." When I received the item there was a sticker on the product that says, "made in China." This is unacceptable considering there have been so many serious and deadly incidents relative to products made in China, and how they impact our health. I will not use this for my animals food, and I will return immediately.

I have been using an acrylic scoop for sugar to feed my honey bees and loosing a lot of sugar to the static that builds up between the crystals and the acrylic. Problem solved with this aluminum one. It is not as large as its acrylic predecessor and has a shorter handle so the weight and balance are good. Win/Win. I loose less sugar when feeding my bees and the lighter weight and shorter handle result in less effort and fatigue to scoop out what I need.
