It works well. However I do definitely recommend using this in conjunction with a bow press.

If you work on your own bow, this tool is a must have! After not being satisfied with the work my local bow shop had done, I got this to install a better peep sight in my bow and to tie it in correctly. There are many cases where you have to separate your strings on your bow. From installing a peep to tieing in your drop away rest. You could rely on a bow shop to do this, but what happens when you're on the road and have an issue? Makes a great item for your bow first aid kit!

It works, it's like a miracle! How it doesn't damage the string, i'll never know.

Works well, and the price is right. I wind a bunch of serving on it, and leave it in my kit. If I need to fix something, I just unwind what I need. If I'm putting a peep back, pull off what you need, then insert the spreader.

This product is incredibly simple to use, very ease to separate the string to add leeches or to protect the string to burn knots.

Great product, not much to it really, its not super intricate or hard to use. Instructions are clear on the back if you don't know what your doing with it, but chances are you know how to work a tool like this well before you purchase it. Its nice and small and I like the paint job, keeps me from losing track of it amidst my mass of bow gear.Good product and definitely worth the purchase.
