Bought to seal and protect a rustic dining table that had no protection and steam and water would cause discoloration. This stuff is the perfect solution without looking like it has poly or varnish. Buffing off is a bit of a chore (think of car wax left in sun to long) but worth the effort.

Check out the picture, these are a couple of my projects I do for Christmas. In fact Odies is my go to for my Nativity/Empty Tomb set I do. I have been selling these like crazy and this oil give it the finish I need to have. Super high quality and I love the fact it is all natural. This is a must in my shop. Being a woodworker I want quality and this delivers every time. Buy with confidence on this

This is some of the best stuff I ever used, I can't think of a better product. Yes, there are products like it and everyone does have there Favorite but from the ones I have used this oil is some of the very best. A bit more on the pricey side but I will be a repeat buyer for sure and love this product!

Ive been using Odie's oil as the finish for every piece of furniture Ive made for clients over the past 5 years. Ive tried just about every other type of wood finish from urethanes, lacquers, shellacs, other oil blends from major brands and have settled on Odie's because of the toxin-free formula, great smell no fumes, no worries of dust or bugs settling in your finish before it cures, or building up 4-5 coats to get an even sheen. I sand to much finer grits than with other products to bring out the figure and sheen without fear of delamination or relying on a top coat to build a film, usually 600 for a solid slab and satin sheen, up to 4k with buffing compounds for polishing river tables. Long term durability and ease of maintenance/detailing in a clients home is much more customer friendly than shipping or transporting tables to and from a shop to strip the toxic old finish and respray top coat. The detailing process is usually a matter of bringing a buffer and fine abrasive pads and some oil to touch up scratches.

Odor’s is my go to for wood projects that I want to feel like wood rather than plastic (poly). It’s easy to use and the results are consistently great.

Great treatment for the wood, 4 stars because it does leave a sticky residue on the wood. I had to use another wood cleaner to get rid of it. Also, very expensive

I got this after trying the Odie's oil (which works great) but since I had some intricate carved pieces to finish this oil seemed easier to get into the nooks & crannies.I also love that this can be used in conjunction with the odie's oil. I did use a lot more than expected but that is only because the wood had been neglected for years by the previous owner and it was very thirsty.Yeah, this stuff may seem pricey on the surface but really, it is an investment to feed, protect & preserve the wood while beautifying it. Turned what looked like junk into heirloom quality. This is now my holy grail product line for wood finishing. And it is food safe which is important for a dining set!
