I already wrote a review but it seems the truth hurts someone….The description is not right doesn’t fit with the oem part nr…The other thing, I got an item which was sent back multiple times and the key and o-ring was missing those were not in the package.Needed to customize it and finally I was able to install it with the extra parts what I added but after 10 minutes stopped working…I don’t name it like others could do it but I would say the motor went to the trash can…I lost about $50 so easy..

Purchased this for a 1995 Yamaha 2-stroke 70hp outboard. Part doesn't fit as advertised and won't seal correctly. Had to return.

This product came in a timely manner, but when installing the motor I noticed the flange that bolts to the face of the pump did not cover the entire hole, so when trying to operate the motor, the hydraulic fluid would leak out. I would not recommend this product.

I bought this product for my 2004 yamaha outboard 90 and it does not fit. It looks almost identical however it is slightly different in size and will not seal properly. The mecanic was not able to install it directly after purchasing and the return policy was 30 days and they will not return the part either. I bought $400 worth of products at the same time that fit and operate great, only the motor I have an issue with.

Very noisy motor. Customer is not happy with it.It’s a lot of work to change it.Hopefully it will work for awhile

The part as others have stated does not cover the flange for O ring seal. The flange size is smaller than OE part. The O ring included is not the correct diameter for the parts. The housing is aluminum and cracked upon install. I would suggest spending the money to rebuild or buy OE Yamaha parts for this particular part of your boat.
