I couldn’t get a replacement inlet valve for my Amana commercial washer but the form was the same and the 5 watt solenoids were rated the same. The selenium’s buzzed at first but I flipped the plugs and now quiet. Super happy. Hopefully I can get another decade out of it

I installed this valve back in October of 2021. It worked well for the month we were at our NC mountain house. We left for the winter and when we returned and de-winterized the house, we noticed that we had the same drip, drip drip into the washer basin. Actually, it’s dripping more now than before I replaced the last one. Anyone know if this valve malfunctions in cold weather? Our washer is in a storage room in the garage and it can gets into the single digits. When winterizing I pour antifreeze into the basin and put it on spin long enough to distribute the antifreeze. I’m going to try again, but at $30 that’s too pricy for only a few weeks of operation.

Product was an exact replacement to the original valve that I removed. It cured the water leaking into the tub while washer is off. And, it fills the washer with water faster than the old worn out valve. Easy fix.

This was a perfect replacement part to stop our washing machine from slowly filling with water when the machine was off/not in use. It was a cheap, easy solution. So glad I did it myself rather than calling a repairman. You can search to find videos how and where to find and replace this fill valve on your washer. Highly recommended! Look at the part on your machine first to see if the connectors, etc are in the same orientation before ordering a replacement part.
