My tub assembly decayed over time, so I was happy to replace it FINALLY. This one worked no issue, seems to be a pretty standard fit. Not 100 percent on that. Either way, it looks lovely. Works! Also, not a bad price. Would recommend.

My house was built in 1980, and I bought it in 1987. I’m betting this was a 45 year-old assembly that broke. It kept the tub from draining quick enough during a shower, and let it drain out when you were taking a bath. For many years.I still need to get a new tub diverter to complete the repair, but here’s the installed Linkage Assembly. The installation went well, no issues other than we couldn’t use the threaded part of the drain plug because I didn’t have the tools needed to remove the existing one. And we didn’t need the linkage extension bar. What we didn’t use is pictured, but I’m sure that threaded drain piece will make it’s way into the tub some day.I was struck by how nice that part I’ll never see again looked with it’s shiny gold. I doubt my old, broken one (pictured) didn't look like anything special when it was new. The toggle lever on the overflow faceplate is stiff, and requires a bit of effort to flip. I hope that will ease up over time. But it holds water, and I like the black better than stainless. The stainless doesn’t age well with our hard water. At least it won’t show as much on the black

I should start by saying that we were dealing with the original bathtub linkage assembly from when our house was built in 1983. It had slowly begun to fail over the past 6 months until with was entirely useless. It wouldn’t hold a bathtub if water and while showering, it wouldn’t stay in the “drain” position. Enter…Patio Zone’s tub drain linkage assembly replacement! We opted for the matte black finish, so I’ll be curious to see how the finish holds up to cleaning products & general wear & tear. The installation was pretty easy (after admittedly watching a General YouTube video about how to replace one of these). This product appears to be well made & looks sharp. It fit my old set up perfectly. For the price, I believe it’s a great value. It was so nice to flip the lever and experience the smoothness in which it operated (like butter, LOL) after putting up with our prior 42 year old assembly. We can now fill the bathtub and not fear the water will drain in 15 minutes and we can also shower while having to use our foot to hold the lever in the drain position! Sometimes, when you’ve been dealing with a nuisance for so long, it’s the little things (like this great product) that give you joy.

I previously had a push button drain plug that my kids have broken twice. I decided we needed something a bit more durable and ordered this drain plug. It works perfectly as intended and seems much more solid that the previous type we had. It was very easy to install, no complaints.

Easy to install had to make a few small modifications for it to work on mine. I believe sometime in the 90s there was a renovation done to the bathroom and not messed with since. Have since seen some slight temporary fixes on things such as the drain linkage with a bread bag tie and was wondering why the drain wasn’t holding water when I was bathing. Now we got it working. Unfortunately the drain is corroded so I’ll need to purchase something to remove the old one which I’ve done and know that’ll be a task in itself. Small differences like this make a world of difference. Small modernized things like this update and just look cleaner all around. Great quality and can’t wait to fix a few other things of the bathtub. Highly recommend.
