About this item

  • Part Compatibility - This Oil Tank Assembly replaces multiple part numbers: 1200-8M0063190, 12008M0063190, 8M0063190, 833069T9, and 833069T6. It is suitable for Mercury Optimax 110HP to 200HP and EFI 175HP to 240HP outboard engines
  • Issue Resolution - The tank is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The two sensor wires in the tank are used to monitor and manage its condition. The upgraded flat washer effectively prevents leaks, while the high-quality brass fittings ensure proper fluid flow and venting balance. Replacing this tank resolves the issue of 4 beeps every two minutes
  • Easy Install - The tank is held in place by three bolts, two oil lines, and two sensor wires. Once installed, the main tank is pressurized by the engine running, so we will use compressed air to recreate this. Unscrew the bleed screw and apply pressure until the tank is filled (2-4 minutes). When it is full, close the bleed screw, prime the fuel ball, and you are ready to boat
  • Friendly Reminder - Some customers may experience oil leakage due to excessive compression of the O-ring. If you encounter this issue, please contact us for the best solution. We now offer an upgraded, oil-resistant flat washer in black, replacing the previous red oval shape. This new design helps prevent deformation or cracking from over-tightening, ensuring a leak-free installation every time
  • Trusted Service and Verified Quality - Buy with confidence from Bzcovac! You'll receive a brand-new product in its original packaging. We aim to improve efficiency, save costs, and optimize time, allowing you to fully enjoy your pursuit of passion. Find your replacement parts here

Item leaked around the molded top where the plug was. I mean it poured out. the holes did not quite line up with the 150 Optimax I was putting it on either. But since the OEM tank did not leak and only the sensor was bad I turned this new one upside down, found space inside the motor compartment and plugged it in. So no internal tank low oil level alarm anymore. I'll just have to watch the 3 gallon tank that feeds the internal tank and keep it full. I check it each trip anyway so....

We received it quickly however upon installing discovered that the o ring that came with it for the cap will squish out and allow oil to run all over. We put a different o ring and that still didn't fix the problem. So our next step is to find a flat rubber washer and hopefully that will fix the issue. If not oem part here we come. Should have went that way initially to avoid this frustration.

It took me two hours to pull apart everything get it all back together and it leaks at the very top. Does anybody know how to get this to work? Very disappointed.
