I bought this for strapping accessories to my bike. It's a simple, convenient, and reuable way of using zip ties.

These were a little hard to reset the numbers since the provided tool bends very easily. However, once you have it set it works. At first, I was able to use the key to reset any password, but I think that was only a one time deal because I can't do it any longer. I wouldn't trust these with a mountain bike, but for my niece's bike that wasn't a lot of money, I would definitely use.

I got these locks to secure items we store outside. The code was relatively easy to change with the little tool, I'm assuming it's a one and done unless you want to change the code often then you need to keep track of that tool. This locks well and seems like you can't easily break it but seems like it would not withstand bolt cutters so I am not locking up things with tremendous value.I do with the cord was more flexible....its like a super duper zip tie so things need to line up well or it's awkward.Other than that I am happy with it.

I got these locks to make sure my cheapo bikes and electric scoters don't end up getting "borrowed" while I go about my day. In this capacity, i.e. as low-maintenance locks to "keep honest people honest", they work really well. During transport they sit zipped around the steering column, and locking up is a simple matter of zipping the column to a street sign post, garbage container or whatever is available nearby. It is quick, it prevents the scooter or bike from falling over, and no worries about loosing a key. They would not be a good choice for protecting big ticket items left unattended for extended periods. They are steel lined and cannot be defeated by a knife, but a bolt cutter, or even a heavy duty tin snip, should make short work of them, and there is also the concern about picking - more about that later. My only reservation about these locks, is that they can get you into a tough spot when configuring the combination code unless you do it right. The provided instructions are excellent, but must be followed to a T! I had no problems configuring one of the locks as instructed, but when I tried configuring the other one a few weeks later, I did so from memory. I am not sure what I did wrong but the end result was a lock with an unknown combination. I had originally been concerned that an attacker could defeat these locks using a flat head screwdriver in lieu of the included combination setting tool, but I found out the hard way that the tool can old be used to reset the combination if the current combination has already been entered. As such I was forced to instead rely on trial-and-error. 3 digits may not sound like a lot, but boy, it took me a LONG time. All things considered, I really like these locks. Just follow the instructions when setting up the combination, and make sure the combination is set right by locking and unlocking several times before actually using it to lock something down!

I recently tried the OKG Zip Tie Locks and found them to be adequate for light security purposes. However, the durability seems questionable, and I wouldn't rely on them for anything needing high security.Setting the lock password was quite a challenge. The included tool bent during the process, making it even more frustrating. While these locks can be useful in certain situations, the overall quality and ease of use leave much to be desired.

I got this as a temporary fix to keep a gate closed and to keep honest people out. I did not use it to protect anything of real value. This device is easy to use, it is lightweight, and it does the job it says it will do. Keep in mind, that these can be cut quickly and easily so do not think you are going to secure high-dollar items. As I said, I got this as a temporary fix to keep part of a gate closed and it worked fine. These offer a speed bump for a would-be opportunistic thief. They are light, easy to carry, and easy to use over and over. The best thing is you do not have to carry around a key to use this. It serves its purpose of protecting small dollar items for a short time.

Okay, so this isn't going to stop anyone planning ahead to steal something. These will however make a snatch and run type of theft difficult at best. The zip ties are very very heavy duty, strong, and would need more than a little time to cut through unless using some really heavy duty tin snips. They are easy to set the code on and lock and unlock. They are actually long enough for me to use to secure my saddlebags onto my luggage rack on my motorcycle to keep them from being stolen off of my bike while I run inside a store or something. They work well for what they are designed to do, they weren't supposed to lock up extremely valuable things after all, and I can recommend these.
