Good quality bushing. However, in addition to the internal size the OUTSIDE dimension of the groove needs to be checked carefully. The listing shows all the dimensions. This bushing has extra room for a 5/16" spit rod BUT the groove was too big to fit into the existing slots for the spit rod bushing on my grill. If you can, borrow a caliper or micrometer to measure your grill's slots. Used both a Dremel and a metal file to enlarge the slots - working fine now.

I bought this piece to replace a cheaper one. This is heavy duty and high quality stainless steel. Definitely worth the money.

I picked this up so I could run temperature probes on a rotisserie chicken or rib roast. I suggest this size to have ample room for the probe wires.Also, if you're asking how this works - you mount the 'base' of your thermometer system on the rotisserie handle, and then run the probes through the gap of this rod bushing. That way it will not tie up and you can monitor your meat's internal temperature.

Bought because of course ours got lost. How do you loose one of these? at any rate it is perfect replacement and does the job it is designed for.

The groove in it is only 1/4". Very narrow, best for thin-walled grills. My grill is just a 3-burner and the spit is 1/2" but the walls at the support point are 3/8" thick, so I obviously need a wider groove. 3 stars because it's my fault for not finding out first and they shipped really fast. Not the product's fault. A waste of $13 for me.

I measured incorrectly and it wasn't the right size but they were SUPER about giving me a refund and the quality of the bushing was very good!
