The first step, click the disarm button to cancel the arming，
The second step, long press the function key for 7 seconds to cancel the pairing mode.you will hear the "di" sound. （You will find that the remote control has lost control of the alarm, indicating that it has been disarmed）
The third step, long press the function key for 3 seconds to enter pairing, you will hear one "Di" sound,
The fourth step, press any button on remote controller, you will hear two times of "didi", it means pairing successfully.

Won't work with previous generation light. Need to keep buying new ones lol. They should've kept pairing the same. I have the smart bike light, doesn't pair whatsoever tried everything. If you have the smart brake light alarm, don't bother.

I bought two of these as I have two lights and lost both controllers. I tried one controller with one of the lights and it wouldn't pair per the instructions. Tried with the other light and it did pair. I threw the first light away and will use these two with the light that works.

Got it to replace my other mounting bracket,nice with an extra remote,didn't pair them yet,i will get around to it,for the price excellent

Does not pair!!!! No instructions, had to look up on YouTube, but even after following instructions to different models, pairing was unsuccessful. You're better off just going with a brand new set.
