A number of Onyx life jackets meet the new flotation standard of having both U.S. Coast Guard and Transport Canada approvals. This new harmonized standard allows for life jackets to be approved and available in both U.S. and Canada and for water enthusiasts to wear this approved vest in both Canadian and United States waters to be legal and in compliance with the standards.

Great pockets. Fits well. Would be too hot to wear in summer, so cool weather wear because of the lining in neck.

Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the collar, it gets hot and sweaty around the neck
