My other vest would sweat you to de@th. This one has the mesh and allows some air flow. Which is nice when the sun is beating down on you. Might end up with a funny looking sun burn

It is a good jacket but it said up to 48" it isn't too small for me. I measured my chest it was 46" and it is too small I say 40" you should be good

I does run small, like others have said. I saw it for $50 in a sporting goods store and tried it on there. I'm 6'1 190lbs and the X-Large was the best fit for me. I typically wear between a medium and large depending on the brand of shirt. I would recommend finding one in person and trying it on for best fit. This is the lowest price I have seen them run.
