I only bought this cause Coke Swirl C made a video on it a couple years ago. Mine obviously weren’t as good as hers but I still had fun 😍

Bought as a gift for grandson. Good kit surprised you have to supply the chocolate and the fillings think I would think twice before I bought it again

Great for kids and adults! I mean, my kids loved it and my wife and I loved the quiet when they were using it and not fighting! Okay, seriously, the kids were getting creative. They we're adding nuts, candies, caramels and anything they liked. I think Pop Rocks were involved at some point. Here's a thing: you NEED good chocolate to melt! Melting discs - they're either good or bad. To be honest, I would go for sweet chocolate chips. Semi sweet doesn't work here. Real Hershey's chocolate bars are great! This kit basically shapes candy into other forms. If not old enough, the kids will need supervision. The chocolate is HOT when it comes out of the microwave/melting pot/double boiler (I don't recommend two of those... go figure). If it gets on skin... We're talking second or third degree burns. Not fun. Buy more candy than you think. One bag of chocolate chips won't do it. Buy caramel chips too. And butterscotch! Peanut butter chips. Melting sweets. Mint chips. M&Ms, Pop Rocks, rice Krispies, nuts... You get the idea. Remember: enough hot water gets everything clean! But the silicone is pretty easy. I recommend using a ziplock bag that can be thrown away for filling molds. It's easier than cleaning the tool included. That's the only drawback. But soaking and a dishwasher works wonders! Five Stars!

I bought this for a xmas present for two 6 year olds. I bought 2 sets. The good: this kept them entertained for hours. The silicone molds are excellent. The inserts are super cool. The little paper with the candy bar suggestions was interesting to read. The bad:- the "melt the chocolate in the pourer" thing didn't work well. Each time, the chocolage got too hot in the middle but not melted enough on the sides, resulting in an uneven melt and problems. I had to resort to melting all chocolate and filling the kid's pourers.- The pourer's lid often popped off, blurping melted chocolate all over the kid's hands. This was because the hexagon shape meant that the corners of the pourer got cool before the center, resulting in clogs. Once the spout clogged, the pressure of trying to squeeze out chocolate caused the lid to pop off and voila, chocolate all over hands.Other than that, this was awesome, but time consuming for the parent in terms of melting and cleanup. (omg the cleanup). Now, you do need to be aware of the following things:- you have to buy chocolate. Do not buy candy melts. I tried that first to save money and candy melts just don't melt the same way. They are thicker and the clogging was a problem.- molds: you are going to need more things for them to pour chocolate into or else you are going to have kids, with candy and melted chocolate in front of them and nothing to do except eat it. And they will eat it.- you need to buy candy/fillings/ect or you are going to have kids rummaging your kitchen looking for anything to add to their bars. We learned that chocolate syrup as a filling does NOT work. I suggest you buy some nutella, some caramels, a bag of m and m's, 3 different types of chocolate chips, and call it a day. They will eat the m and m's, make a melty mess, and be super proud of their candy bars.- You are going to have hyper kids. But you knew this. You are looking at a "candy bar kit" for children.

Just okay is how I can best described the product. I gave these to my son and 8 of his cousins on Christmas Eve as gifts and the plus side is the packaging. All the kids got really excited about this gift and it later resulted in many facebook photos showing the bars they made. That all said there is nothing all that special about it. The squeezer would get jammed up and was hard to clean, to the point we just started using a regular bowl to melt the chocolate and the spoons to put it in to the molds. You can buy molds on eBay for pennies each so really for about $1.00 you can get plenty of molds. Even doing the eBay method can get themed ones too like for example Lego molds. So that said, the product isn't really there value wise. It is also an expensive gift because comes with no candy or chocolate so need to buy that separate. BUT.. the packaging does look nice and get kids excited, so it could be worth it for that reason.

This is a surprisingly nice little chocolate making set! My 9 year old has spent several hours dreaming up and creating chocolate combinations. There are several molds, two-sided patterned stamps, and even little candy wrapper bags to put your finished chocolate bars in. There is a brochure inside with suggestions for candy bars and add-ins, but you quickly find out you're not limited to those combinations and branching out on your own is fun. The chocolate squeeze bottle can get a bit messy, especially when making several chocolate bars, but since they and the molds are silicone, cleanup is pretty easy. We do wish the squeezer was a bit larger so we can make more chocolate at once, but that shouldn't stop you from ordering this set. Well worth the money!

Got this kit for my Autistic grand son. He saw the commercial for it and I ordered it thru Amazon because it was much cheaper than their website. Bought the supplies needed (chocolate to melt, sprinkles and other toppings). Was soooo easy to make the bars. You put the chocolate in the enclosed melter/pourer, then put in microwave then squeeze the melted chocolate (you use other meltables besides chocolate) into the molds. Sprinkle toppings, put in the freezer till hardened and watch the kids enjoy their treat. My almost 13 yr old grandson wants to make candy for Christmas. Clean up is a breeze too. I would recommend this kit. It does not come with the chocolate and sprinkles, those you by online or a store that sells them. Happy melting!
