This is the second binder I’ve purchased. Unfortunately the box was in very poor condition and the binder was obviously a prior return because of the tiny paper pieces floating around inside the box. I never even got the chance to see if the binder worked because the power cord and pedal were both missing from the box.It seems that previously returned items would be checked before being sent off to a new customer.

I am in the midwest and chose the seller I did because they were also in the midwest, anticipating a short shipping transit time. The machine was shipped promptly -- from the west coast! So, not a short shipping time. Other than that, I am happy with the machine. It is easy to use and adjust. The jury is still out on the crimping pliers. They do not work very well. However, part of that may be the user. I'll see how I like them after I have used them a while. For now, I usually have to take another pair of pliers and bend the tail of the coil a little more. This is in a hobby, not a business, setting. However, I think this would be a good fit for any situation where an electric punch machine is not needed.

So easy to use. This thing is so sturdy and well-built. My husband thought I was laying it on thick while unboxing, until he moved it for me and couldn’t believe how sturdy it was. I made 25 100 page notebooks and it was so easy! Now I’m about to cut the spine off all my cookbooks and bind those too. The auto coil inserter is icing on the cake. I’m so glad I went with this machine. I hemmed and hawed for a few weeks.

I bought this coil binding machine to bind workbooks for my kids. It's super easy to use, binds flawlessly, and really turns out a top notch book. My teens have enjoyed using the machine so much that they've gone through their dad's office, binding all kinds of materials. This is definitely one of my top three homeschool resources of all time - right up there with a color printer and laminator. We've bound at least 50 books so far and this machine is still performing perfectly. If you're on the fence, trying to decide whether it's really worth the money - go ahead and jump. You'll be so glad you did.
