Just got my used but not abused Echo Live dreadnaught. Came with Earthwood strings. Setup and action are pretty good. Fishman preamp is simple and sounds ok. Been playing anything from John Denver, Paul Simon, Billy Joel. This morning playing along with random slow bluegrass songs on Youtube and gospel bluegrass. HOLY COW! Even if you don't like bluegrass, if you have an Orangewood...grab it and play along to one. Great for beginners all the way to experts. This guitar really shines. Very pleased!

I spent the extra money for the one with the accessories but when it got here all i got was just the guitar and gig bag nothing else

My Wife gave this to me for Christmas. I was surprised and exited. I haven't played since I was 19. (I'm 53) I noticed, right away that there was alot of string buzz. I adjusted the trunk of the guitar in accordance with the instructions included with the guitar package, to little efect. I sent an email to Orangewood. I recieved no reply. I then took the guitar to a local music shop for their opinion. The shop informed me that the guitar needed to be "set up". Orangewood advertises that all of their guitars are already professionaly "set up" before shipment. I payed $55 to have the shop set up my new Orangewood. It now plays better. (better than can be expected for a $100 beginner guitar.) However, having to pay for my own set up doesn't make this guitar package a great value. Maybe check out the similar starter kit from Fender. They are leader in the industry and have always been known for their quality and professionalism.

After careful consideration and buying totally in the dark, with only 2 reviews...JACKPOT ! Amazing quality with a bunch of goodies extra and a sweet soft case. I love the sound and even though I am not a professional, this guitar has some serious sound. Also , the action is amazingly close to the fret board making it easier to hit the chords.
