This kit came with a 14" bar, chain, and spline sprocket with a depression milled into the bell for my oil pump. The install was easy as swapping the chain, bar, and bell(which fit over the factory bearing perfect). I ran this in an old Elm tree after running a tank of gas off a brand new Stihl 16" chain to compare, and this Nano is amazingly faster, chips pour out of my saw, and the lighter bar is easier to handle(more nimble). It really makes the saw feel more powerful and just cuts so fast compared to the factory 16" green chain. 10 out of 10 I do recommend. Especially for cedar clearing.Update:I have ran a few gallons of gasoline on this bar aince purchase. I would say the chain has great endurance. I kept a couple extra chains on hand for each day lf cedar clearing and the chain will hold it down almost all day, but you can definitely tell when its time to swap a fresh chain on or sharpen during a fill-up, then you are back to making wood shavings. To expand my fleet, I just added a new electric 540ixp from the other "orange" company and will use the chains from this setup on the speedcut nano I got for that 540ixp. Win win as I keep working on the transition to electric saws but with the performance of this speedcut, my MS170 keeps running pretty hard!
