We have a Hunter polished brass original ceiling fan. The light kit we had attached stopped working. Hunter now only makes 2 types of replacement light kits for this fan -- this model and the schoolhouse version. The color selection is limited to brown and black. We love the original ceiling fan and didn't want to replace it. This light kit installed easily and all the holes lined up without any problems. Installation time was about 15 minutes. It's pricey, but it works and doesn't look too bad considering it doesn't "match." Price on Amazon was the same as purchasing directly from Hunter, but if you have Prime, you save the shipping cost from Hunter.
