Absolutely worth the money. This makes removing and installing valve springs such a breeze. I can do it with 1 hand. Make sure you install your cam cap bolts DRY and torque them to 89 INCH pounds. and only grease the 3/8 (9/16 head) Valve compressing bolt. I thought it was pricey at first but it’s so much easier to use than any other valve spring compressor I’ve ever used. it also comes with a small magnetic screwdriver that’s perfect for removing your Valve retainers. Great piece of kit. a must have for 4.6 or 5.4 DOHC Heads

Hands down the best tool you can buy if you own a 4V 4.6 or 5.4. You set the tool up four times per head. When using a battery powered impact and sockets, you can have springs, retainers, and stem seals removed in about 30 minutes per head. There is still a use for the OEM or OTC style tool, as they make installing the followers much easier during the reassembly process.
