I ordered a charger for the UV6D, this might work on that unit if it had the larger battery, but mine does not. So I'm not sure what unit this is actually for, but not mine. 👎

The handheld is too small for the charger, so the KG-UVD1P is not compatible and a waste of money..

This is the third charger for one radio. The original failed fairly soon so I ordered a replacement. It failed in less than a week. I have had this one for 5 days and so far, I have my fingers crossed, it is still working. The service through Amazon is excellent so I feel safe knowing that Amazon will make it right if the second one fails. I have read reviews on the charger and I believe that my experience is fairly typical. Problem is, I don't know of another charger that will service this battery.Additional information: February 2023Well this charger lasted a little longer than the last, long enough that I cannot return it for credit. I really don’t know what to do. I guess I’ll throw the radio into the junk box since it is of no value without being able to charge the batteries. I said batteries because I have three and cannot charge any of them. I will not buy Wauxun again. Very disappointed.
