I bought this hoping it would keep my ghost shrimp on the hook for a cast. It doesn’t. I think they need to be bigger for my saltwater use. These might be good on a tiny trout hook or something. Im sure there is a place for it. I’ll keep using it until it’s gone but don’t think I’ll order it again.

Great for holding bait onto hooks, particularly when using barbless hooks like when doing catch and release fishing or where barbless hooks are mandatory. I like the smaller size bait buttons that come in the green container, as that works well for hooks up to about 1/0 size. This is my third container of bait buttons, so I obviously like them and use them.

If fishing waters requiring "barb-less" hooks, you likely know or recognize the need for a product like the Bait Button.What you might not know is it's likely one of the fastest and easiest options, and very likely the least expensive option made for that type fishing. Refills are also available from the manufacturer. Going barb-less can save damage to fish (and fishermen) and when utilized correctly, actually is more effective and much faster than barbed hooks!
