This item is just as advertised, with the mounting options being magnetized and being able to be locked to ensure that the device you've attached it to doesn't come loose. The extension works well and is smooth to use, definitely a great addition to any vlogger looking to add an extra camera angle or tripod view to their action shots.

This tripod selfie stick is a versatile option for action cams and compact cameras. The standout feature is the quick release system which comes with a mount for action cams and another with a 1/4" screw. The action cam mount is fine, but the 1/4" screw mount construction is mostly thin plastic and attaching any heavier devices to it can easily flex the plastic. The quick release system is opened by pressing two metal buttons to release the mount. When mounting it back on, the system automatically reengages and holds the mount secure. Mounting onto the quick release system is also aided with a magnet with a fairly strong pull. The quick release system also has a locking tab to prevent accidental release of the mount. The construction is mostly plastic except the quick release buttons and the telescoping pole. The pole has some flex when extended and tested by hand, but it should hold stable under normal conditions. The tripod base is wide and gives good stability on flat surfaces.

Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind das geringe Gewicht und die kompakte Größe – es passt problemlos in jede Tasche und ist somit ideal für Reisen oder den schnellen Einsatz unterwegs.Die Montage der Kamera ist durch den integrierten Magnetverschluss äußerst einfach und zeitsparend. Die Verbindung hält zuverlässig, sodass man sich keine Sorgen um die Sicherheit der Kamera machen muss. Auch die allgemeine Verarbeitung des Stativs macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck.Trotz seiner geringen Größe steht das Stativ stabil und sicher, auch auf nicht ganz ebenen Flächen. Es eignet sich gut für Aufnahmen in verschiedensten Situationen – ob im Innenbereich, beim Wandern oder im Urlaub.Insgesamt ein sehr praktisches Zubehör, das die Nutzung der Osmo Action Cam deutlich flexibler und komfortabler macht.

I am all about saving space when possible and having a selfie stick and simple tripod in once device is a great combo when traveling.This is a sturdy unit and seems to be good quality especially factoring in the price. The magnetic quick release is a nice touch. I like that there is also a lock so you accidently knock it loose and lose your camera.I am not too sure about the lock on the bottom. I haven't mad up my mind on if it necessary or not. Having it there right now is fine but who knows how I will feel in time.Mine did not include the lanyard which I am a little bummed about but not bummed enough to deduct a star. Not sure if it was supposed to be included or not? It shows it but does not mention it in the description.Extending 20" gives the average person a good reach to get those wide angel shots.Overall, this is a good combo selfie

I was looking for a stand that isn't too big or takes up too much space on my desk and this is exactly what I wanted! It's almost the same size as the pocket 3 and portable. It easily fits in pockets, and bags and is easy to set up. It's very lightweight but also sturdy. I loooove the magnetic feature it has. The magnet is strong and snaps easily in place. It's very convenient to attach to my cameras and the lock function prevents it from coming off and keeps it secure. I love the different ways of using this. It works as a handheld and stand. The only thing that would improve this is better gripping material on the legs and feet of the stand. I use this more so for a stand on tabletops and desks, but it easily works on the ground as well.

This extension rod/tripod is half the price of the mini extension rod from DJI for the Osmo Action 5 pro and it does pretty much the same job. You actually get, in addition to the quick release claw mount, a screw mount too so this can be used with quite a wide variety of different action cameras from DJI Osmo, GoPro, Insta360. The rod is very compact when folded up at less than 20cm in length (with the claw mount attached) and weighing less than 160g making it easy to carry around in your pocket even. Build quality is pretty good, it doesn't look or feel too cheap. If you are prone to losing or breaking these accessories then it would be good value to buy two of these and have one spare rather than paying twice the amount for a name brand version.

I'm not typically a "selfie stick" kind of guy, but this thing is pretty good. It's a selfie stick, it's a portable tripod, and it works for different camera mounts! The quick release adapter plates for both action camera mounts and 1/4 20 threaded mounts is awesome. I can quickly switch between the action cam and the pocket cam. It's a winner in my book.

This is exactly what I wanted for my osmo pocket 2 so that I could record videos from my desk using a stable surface. It is a nice fit once the adaptor is exchanged and very stable. It's pretty durable and easy to carry. I just need a case to keep both in together. But it's great.
