Norestar Outboard Motor Bracket/Kicker Mount for Boat Motors
This Norestar Outboard Motor Bracket will allow you to raise and lower your trolling motor easily. The mount has 4 locking positions and fits nearly any outboard motor (refer to the model number for HP rating and capacity). The twist knob locks the motor securely in place. Each kicker mount has 10.5" of vertical lift and can accommodate both short shaft and long shaft outboard motors. The high density mounting board will support motors up to 110 lbs. Very little mounting space is required and mounts easily on nearly any transom and is ideal for a variety of boats including aluminums, fiberglass boats, canoes, and nearly any other boat. Refer to the mounting bracket dimensions in the specifications listed below to ensure you have the required mounting space.
Requires four stainless bolts/nuts for installation (not included due to the variety of transom depths -- available from any hardware store).
Not recommended for 4-stroke motors.
Motor should be removed when trailering.

For added strength, the 25HP model has a wider metal bracket securing the mounting board than the 20HP model. This is the only difference between the two models.

I purchased this transom motor mount. Be very aware of the mounting plate. It is very weak and cannot handle the weight of your 10 hrs. motor. Read some of the other reviews where customers lost motor on highway or lake. The mechanism is pretty stout so i decided to modify and customize mine. I purchased 1" aluminum plate stock on eBay and built a custom bracket and transom brd. People be smart and always connect your kicker motor to your bout via safety chain this way if anything goes wrong you can still retrieve your motor!

Plate was constructed very well only issue was some bolt needed to be tighten but not a problem for me great jack plate for the money

All stainless stamped construction about 1/16" thick, stainless nylock nuts (metric). Motor pad is 7.25" wide by 10.25" tall. Mounting bracket to transom is 5.75" wide by 5.5". Very solid for a good price. Springs work well lifting my 8hp 2 stroke (75 lbs). Tip: Lubricate hinging areas with oil since stainless on stainless creates high friction. Good instructions supplied. Very pleased.

It's soild. The we're a could problems with it. 1 there was a bolt that was bent. 2 the washer on it got wedged in but once I got it popped, and straighted it was all good. Nice and solid cheap too.

we bought this for a 5 hp Honda 4 stroke on our 20 ft star craft omc sterndrive v8. it was easy to mount and is well made. it worked well in the ocean on our first try. it looks nice on the boat too.
