Nifty little hatchet/axe. Nice for small pieces of wood and splitting. Keeps a sharp edge and can be sharpened. The handle is nice and is comfortable to hold. It is way lighter than I would have thought but this makes it easy to carry. You can pack in and pack out with this no issues. Made from stainless steel, this is a really good hatchet and more useful than I would have thought.

I bought this for the size and the hole on the handle for attaching to a carabiner . It’s made in China which I hate because I don’t like supporting their country government . Function is and durability is more important than worthless-coolness style.

Got this axe for a friend’s birthday. He likes it. It feels heavy when you hold it. The wood handle is very smooth and good quality. The blade is sharp. And it comes with a protector.

This is a great camping/survival hatchet. It has an extremely sharp blade, good compact design, and it even comes with a faux leather blade cover. At this price I highly recommend!

When I first opened the box with this hatchet in it, I felt like 'Tim' from 'Tool Time'. I primarily use my hatchets to create wood shavings for smoking meat. The one I use the most I inherited from my dad and is over 50 years old. I try to keep it sharp but it has seen its better days. I was hoping this would be a good replacement. When I started using it, it was balanced well and was incredibly sharp compared to my other hatchets. Sadly, I was only five minutes in and my hand started cramping up. The handle is very small in diameter and about an inch too short. My hands are above average male size, but not huge by any stretch of the imagination. If the handle was just a little bigger this would easily be a five rating. So I am a little bummed. I was hoping this would be my forever hatchet. But it isn't.

It comes with a sheath. I like that it is a full tang.
