My cats love these. I bought two about a year ago and built them for some then feral cats to take shelter. I did treat it with a pet safe wood sealer beforehand and let it air dry open outside for a few days before I closed it and filled it with blankets and towels. As I have worked with these cats, they have become quite comfortable with me, so I am able to pet them and love on them. It is always a relief to go outside on a cold day and find that the cats are nice and warm to the touch when they jump out from the house to greet me. The two of them comfortably share one house in the winter and then use their own separate ones in the summertime. They also like to sun themselves on top of the roof.

Bought this for a stray cat that we have been feeding. We wanted to give her some shelter for the upcoming cold weather. My mom, who is in her late 70's, was able to put this box together all by herself. We didnt use the inside divider, and I ended up taking off the plastic hanging strips in the hopes of enticing kitty inside. Its nice and sturdy, and the kitty seemed to really like it, once she got used to going into it for treats. It's held up in the rain and snow, so far. But, ironically, the kitty finally decided to come inside, so it hasnt been used over winter :)

We've set up two of these, now. The design is well thought-out, as it's simple but still has nice features that keep the interior dry and ventilated but still protected. So far, no tenants yet; the cats that pass through have noticed it, but they seem to already have their spots somewhere else. I'm still glad to have a couple of these in my yard, available if an animal in need does find it.

Great product… well designed and easy to put together. Good price…I feel better knowing that there is a cozy place for a furry friend to spend the night on a cold day. I really recommend this item specially if you love animals.

This is amazing. We have had outside in snow rain you name it and has held up great. And stray cats Def use it from time to time... we have straw in it for animals to stay warmer.

This is a nice, high quality cat house for an affordable price. This is now my third outdoor cat house- I have been using another 2 outdoor cat houses for ~5 years but needed a 3rd and I am really impressed by this one. LOVE that it is pre-insulated and it actually feels substantial. It was also simple to put together with clear instructions, took about 30 minutes to assemble. I will likely caulk and add exterior paint later but that is only to extend the life, being outside and uncovered in Ohio. The finish looks really nice as is and if I did not have snowy winters I don't think that would be necessary. I am very impressed by this!Note I did NOT install the plastic flaps for the front of the house. I do not use these or a door for any of my existing cat houses since cats do seem hesitant about these in general (but all of mine have an escape door). If people do not like the flap it could just not be installed, don't let that deter you from purchasing this great cat house! Or perhaps wait to install, then when the cat(s) get used to the house, then try installing if you still want that feature.

This us a well made & attractive ( Manly), cat house. Ole dropped off neighborhood Alley Cat likes to use it whenever he cant get into the house ( If he isn't at the back sliding glass doors before I go to bed he’s outta luck till breakfast ): Seems to work well for the fellow. I also have a couple of those self cooling and heating pads that I swap out as needed inside of it for him. Also: The center divider is removable ( if desired), as shown in the incl. pictures. Make sure that you place it back in correctly ( 2 possible ways and correct way will slide in easily/ loosely)

Great product, easy to assemble. In colder climates you will need the replace the front entry plastic drop sheet as it becomes too rigid for cats to maneuver. I had to replace with cloth drop cloth. The side escape hatch ch works great as you can place the hut against a wall. I was able to install a pet friendly heated blanket for additional comfort especially when temps fall below 0 degrees.

Well made easy to put together. The only thing that did not work out was the plastic front door flap. When the weather got cold it was very rigid and the cats could not exit or enter. We took it off.

Relatively easy to assemble, did it by myself in maybe half an hour, although I only put together the basic box, as I placed it in a sheltered location. It would have been a lot easier if the big screws had pre drilled holes, not sure why they didn’t. It does have a very strong smell, I’m hoping it will dissipate with time. Not sure if the smell will bother the cat, only time will tell.

I bought this a few months ago and assembled it myself. The step by step instructions made it easy for me. This is a very sturdy wood house. After an initial look and inspection, the cats like and use it. Easy to lift lid to clean if needed or to freshen bedding. It’s been through several rain storms now and waterproof! Should provide warmth this winter.
