The usefulness of this is dependent on your use case for it. If you’re playing marching snare (like me) I would NOT recommend this. It is way too bouncy, has a terrible “realistic feel” and you are basically forced to rely on rebound while using it (since you get WAY too much rebound) if you want one that is so bouncy, then this is the one, but not useful for a guy like me.
