We used this 3 times. Rusted at joints and then weld failed. Very poor quality.Very poor customer service.Would not buy from this company again.

I wish the ring that holds it closed was more sturdy. The second time I used it for grilling 3 small chicken breasts, it came loose and the top flew open when I was flipping the basket. Chicken dumped on our patio. I may try to replace that metal ring with something a little more robust that won't come loose. Otherwise, it's a solid basket that is exceptional for fish and veggies. The wood handle is long enough to clear the grill lid, and there are no worries about accidentally burning your hands.

i love this basket no mess on grill nothing sticks to grill or basket like the long handle wooden handle no burnt hands handle hangs outside grill cover easy to clean may get another I use it for chicken cooked fish and hash browns better than gas oven done on onside just flip to the other side I have not used my oven since I bought this product

Ordered two. Delivery was fast, received the following afternoon.One came broken (only one wire had come off during transfer), still decided to use it (gave me a lot of trouble since food kept on falling out of the extra wide space owing to the missing part).The other one had a similar damage within 20 minutes of use. Only chromed steel fine rod/wire came off and I have a very bad feeling about the product.I am contemplating keeping vs returning the product. If the pieces keep on coming off, in three to four uses, the product will become useless. Not sure if I could go to some place and get the welding/joints reinforced? Not even sure if that's possible. If it is, then this will turn out to be an extremely good investment, but by the looks of it, it appears I will have to return it within a week.The handle is great but is not centred and hence once turns the product the handle partly keeps the lid of the BBQ ajar.Update:Feeling extremely disgusted and cheated and thinking about returning the item for it's flimsy nature, I ended up searching for some nice welders who would actually fix every joint of the top half (that were coming off just by washing, or adjusting). Ended up with an extremely talented welder at Welding Ideas (Richmond Hill), after negotiating a 30 dollar fee, welding magic came into play and all the points and joints of the top cover were redone within 20-25 minutes by the expert.The basket is now better than the original one, the welded joints will (hopefully) never come off and even if the bottom sturdy half has issues, I know where to go to address them.At the end of the day, I am extremely happy since the food cooked great, the broken parts were fixed (with an extra charge and thanks to a great and cooperative welder) and all the flimsy joints were reinforced to prevent future surprises.Still, as advertised, the metal is of good quality and doesn't heat up unnecessarily, hence I have given it a positive rating, since the food came out quite as expected.Update 2After the fix through welding everything works great. Food comes out amazing. No hot spots owing to the mesh that distributes the heat evenly. I am happy I didn't return it and got it fixed.

While we have not used the basket yet, my husband was excited to have the choice of extra depth for grilling larger items or making the basket thinner for smaller items. I would have given this a higher rating except for the manufacturing flaw in the handle. The first one we received had a good sized chip in the bottom side of the handle running up the side. This was quickly replaced without any problems except the new one had the same chip in the handle it was just stained so not as noticeable. We decided just to keep it but are disappointed that the chip problem was apparently not just a one time flaw.

I purchased this to add to another grill basket I previously had. Sadly this is a bit harder to use. I only use these for making stuffed hamburgers. It does work as it should, but my old one is better.

I searched high and low for this basket, or at least one that served a particular purpose. The basket I was searching for was one that could be used to grill fairly thin items, and hold them together, like grilling ground sausage for a soup recipe I had. The recipe called for "an asian meat grilling basket" but I couldn't find one. This basket serves that purpose and yet, is adjustable, so it can hold food items that are fairly thin to food items as thick as a thick steak. For me, it totally serves the purpose it was intended for.
