This was high quality. Why spend a ton for a brand name when you can get this one? I ended up filling the pieces with water only and they kept the umbrella so very sturdy! It’s a huge umbrella and incredibly heavy. I trust it next to my windows that’s how strong of a hold it is. Highly recommend!

when I bought this, it was a reasonable cost, I think it is priced too high now. It fits the large 10 foot crack out and swivel OutSunny umbrella. I can understand why some say it does not- it doesn’t look like it fits, but when you try to turn it, it turns. I filled it with water and it holds the umbrella just fine.

I researched several alternatives and am glad I bought these.Pros: Lightweight when empty, easy to fill or empty, very low profile, appear to be durableCons: The built in handle won’t help at all when filled because it’s too heavy for your fingertips. I grabbed it at the channel on the bottom and at the side with no issues, it has a bigger footprint than the original base had but also a nice low profileHint: if filling with water as I did, pull your hose to where your umbrella is instead of carrying these around after filling

If you look at the picure of the base, it is an offset 'T' and not the standard 'X' umbrella base. Therefore some of the standard weighted 'X' bases do not work due to the different lengths of the feet. The lengths of the legs from the pole out are: 2 legs @ 19", 1 leg @ 7 1/2" and 1 leg @ 30". I have not found a base that fits these dimensions yet that I'm willing to spend good $$$ on....

This is great for outside. If the umbrella is open and the winds are very high we have to secure the umbrella from flailing, but typical south florida issues. Easy to assemble. Looks good.
